All in “One Pot”

Many of the dishes on this blog are “one pot” dishes. This means that after everything has simmered and stewed, your whole meal is right there in one pot. This is great for the busy mom who has so much to do during the day, but still wants to provide a great meal for her family without much effort at all. Even the inexperienced cook can whip up some yam porridge and provide dinner for 2 days! For example: on Monday you can make black eyed peas, then the next day, take the leftovers, follow the Moyin-Moyin recipe with shrimp and have another new dish for dinner. This cuts down on time spent in the kitchen, dishes, and stress all while providing a wonderful meal and saving some money! One pot is the way to go especially if you are “on the go”!
